Managing My Curls: Part I {Product Review}

The peculiarity or shall I say the problem with curly hair is that it looks different everytime you think of styling it. If you have curly hair, you know what I mean, right? The hair acts like it has a mind of it’s own. When you really take care of styling it at home with like a zillion products, it will look just the same and one day when you don’t really do anything and decide to spend the day at home it looks perfect! Murphy’s law works in mysterious ways. 😉
Of late, I’ve been experimenting with a lot of products for my curls. I recently cut my hair short (a little below the shoulder length) My hair acts weird like it always does, but it definitely looks different!
Tip: If you want to define your curls, avoid combing them and scrunch it while it’s still wet, this will ensure that they say intact even after your hair has naturally dried
I’ve come to like a few products which somehow manage to keep my curls intact when I want them to!

Your curls will love Pure resource. Mine does! Whether I have oiled my hair or no, this shampoo manages to give my curls that extra nourishment which makes them well defined.

It has always been Toni & Guy. I have written about the product here. Do have a look!

Use it on towel-dried hair and leave it on for 5 minutes and rinse. The magic starts working and you’ll start swearing by the product!
Other Products:

Most of the times, my curls look great after the hair wash but they begin to go haywire after they dry naturally. On the days that I want them to stay how they are, while still wet for the entire day or two, I use the Wild Stylers Techni Art Gel. You apply it on mid-lenghts and tips after towel drying your hair and scrunge it to define it. Stays put the whole day!
Although ironic, I do use the Wild Stylers Techni Art Next Day Hair Spray to give a rough look to my hair at times, when I get bored of the smooth curls. Since experimenting my hair look is somthing that I’m keen on doing for quite a while now, this product serves its purpose completely.
Please note that L’Oreal Professionnel Range of products are not available on the counter. They are sold only at select salons.
